Enterprise Architecture Director directs the architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's overall IT systems. Leads the strategy, management, and implementation of the systems architecture function. Being a Enterprise Architecture Director ensures that systems are designed to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Evaluates system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Additionally, Enterprise Architecture Director identifies and researches potential technology products to enhance solution delivery.     Summary of Role:

    The Enterprise Risk Management Director will play a critical role in driving a proactive and coordinated approach to risk management, helping the Company's long-term growth by assessing and prioritizing risks and aligning management programs to mitigate risks that may impact the enterprise's ability to achieve strategic objectives. This role will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management program. The Enterprise Risk Management Director will report to the VP of Enterprise Risk Management. The role will help lead an effective team of enterprise risk and compliance professional(s) and interact extensively with executives and personnel at all levels of the Company.

    Areas of Enterprise Risk Management oversight and responsibility will include Enterprise Risk Management and providing programmatic assistance for cross-functional coordination of risks being monitored by individual functions, to actualize a connected risk management approach response aligning with the needs of the business. Areas of support will also include Business Resiliency measures such as business continuity planning and third-party risk management.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    A successful candidate has experience supporting the build and operation of fit-for-purpose Enterprise Risk Management program(s) and has a passion for acting as a change agent to champion risk management considerations across the organization. This individual has a demonstrated ability to manage an effective team of professionals, break down organizational silos by working across functions and experience prioritizing risk outcomes in the context of enterprise performance to align risks to strategy and strategy to risk.

    • Support development of a proactive and coordinated approach to risk management, aligning governance, risk and compliance priorities with enterprise strategic goals to proactively identify, mitigate, and monitor risk. Assist in the achievement of goals for the ERM program including:
      • Embedding risk management practices into the organization's culture
      • Defining accountability for risk management activities
      • Enabling informed risk management decision-making on an enterprise-wide basis
      • Ensuring ongoing risk monitoring and risk reporting
      • Driving consistency and alignment across all Company divisions
    • Monitor external risk landscape and be apprised of and evaluate existing and evolving compliance, ethics, privacy and related legislation, regulations, frameworks, and other marketplace/industry dynamics relevant to Lantheus and its industry, business, and operations to determine the practical effects on and requirements for Lantheus programs, policies, communications, and training needs.
    • Maintain risk universe and lead annual risk assessment driving consistent risk categorization, treatment, and communication across all functions.
    • Facilitate the delivery of high-quality, relevant, and actionable risk information to stakeholders.
    • Identify risk owners for key risks and partner to build action items/accountability.
    • Formalize risk reporting/dashboard in alignment with stakeholder needs.
    • Support other areas requiring cross-functional alignment to develop consistent and repeatable frameworks for risk mitigation, including development of processes for business continuity planning, disaster recovery and third-party risk management.
    • Build, manage, mentor and lead a team of enterprise risk professionals whose roles as collaborative, pragmatic business partners instill a strong culture of risk management enterprise wide.
    • Coordinate with other teams that perform governance, risk, control, and monitoring activities to identify gaps or redundancies and ensure efficient realization of plans through a collaborative approach.
    • Act as a change agent encouraging an environment that employs accountability, collaboration and trust while fostering teamwork and execution.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree with twelve plus (12 ) years of Enterprise Risk Management or related experience, with an impressive academic and professional record; Master's degree preferred and CRMP or ARM certification highly valued.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
    • Substantial business and regulatory knowledge, and experience in Life Sciences and/or Manufacturing; Pharmaceutical industry preferred.
    • Project management skills are required to complete multiple projects and accomplish the annual plan.
    • Knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements with an understanding of how these requirements apply to the organization's daily operations.
    • Experience in building and implementing key components of an effective Enterprise Risk Management program.
    • The ability to provide timely, well-informed, "practical risk"-based advice that facilitates business decision-making in alignment with strategic objectives.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    This position is intended to be hybrid, with an expectation of working out of the Company's Bedford, Massachusetts executive office one to two days per week (or more) and as otherwise necessary. Periodic (though infrequent) travel to other Company sites and events may be required.
