Enterprise Architecture Director directs the architectural design, development, and deployment of an organization's overall IT systems. Leads the strategy, management, and implementation of the systems architecture function. Being a Enterprise Architecture Director ensures that systems are designed to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Evaluates system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Additionally, Enterprise Architecture Director identifies and researches potential technology products to enhance solution delivery. Participates in creating strategies and policies to meet overall business goals. Oversees implementation of architecture system and advises adjustments to top management. May require a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Enterprise Architecture Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Enterprise Architecture Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     In the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data, this is an exciting time to be at SK Hynix NAND America. SK Hynix NAND America is looking for a talent that has a strong background and experiences on NAND Architecture, Performance and Design. The candidate will be working in NAND pathfinding team to develop the next generation NAND technology.
     

    Key Responsibilities:

    Joining us as a Director of NAND Pathfinding Design & Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation in the development of 3D NAND technology. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Planning, and directing activities to engineer next-node NAND technology for world-class density, power and performance, all the way from the feasibility stage through initial ramp-up of production and SSD integration while meeting schedules, standards, quality, and cost requirements.
    • Collaborating with diverse teams in process and integration, reliability, circuit & chip design, firmware and modeling group to meet product requirements.
    • Architecting performance, power and density optimization for next generation NAND technology.
    • Finding and developing innovative development models to deploy ML/AI-based methodologies to enhance pathfinding project integrity and advancement.
    • Responsible for identifying hurdles, finding solutions, and performing execution to meet new technology target specs and schedules.
    • Taking on a mentorship role by leading pathfinding design and architecture group.
     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 20 years of relevant experience
    • 5 years of team management role
    • Strong experience in NAND-SSD integration and familiarity with SSD architecture and media management firmware algorithms
    • Knowledgeable about NAND performance and power analysis and reduction
    • Proficient in statistical data analysis and design of experiments
    • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
    • Demonstrated innovation and creativity
    • Familiar in 3D-NAND scaling, device physics and reliability
    • Exposure to analog/digital design, circuit analysis, SSD architecture and NAND media control

    Benefits:

    • The base salary range for this full-time position is: $236,000 - 288,000
      • Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
      • Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, discretionary bonuses and benefits.
