Johnson Electric is a leading global organization in Manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Information Technology to lead our IT operations in the Americas region. As the Director of IT, you will play a critical role in shaping our technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless IT services across the region.

Your Responsibilities Would Be:

• Develop and execute the IT strategy for the Americas region, aligning it with overall business goals and corporate IT strategies.
• Lead a team of IT professionals, including managers, engineers, and support staff, ensuring high performance and employee development.
• Participates in evaluating modern machine learning and generative AI based solution evaluations, adoption to build self-healing IT infrastructure.
• Provide thought leadership in accelerating reengineering of enterprise workloads to hybrid clouds; and developing team skills, engaging with business partners, enterprise system team leaders on benefits, ROI and risk averse migration planning.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of server systems, networks, data centers, clouds and securities for Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify technology needs, evaluate solutions, implement best practices, manage project progress, and measure result against assumption.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, project planning and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations, industry best practices, and audit requirements.
• Drive and support digital transformation initiatives, data analytics, automation, enterprise application.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on technology trends and opportunities.
• Define performance KPIs and metrics, and conduce regular reviews to track performance.
• Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure service delivery methods and procedures.
• Collaborates with global infrastructure teams in identifying opportunities to simplify IT Service management through continuous improvement initiatives.

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT projects and teams, particularly infrastructure transformation migrating and modernizing infrastructure with cloud.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and change.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $91,389.59 - $110,060.58 per year
