Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Scope
The Construction Internship provides a tremendous opportunity for a degree seeking individual to learn and becoming familiar with the construction industry. Construction Interns will gain experience in many different aspects of construction within New Enterprise. Depending on length of internship, interns will rotate across the Construction Division through various field assignments. Ideally, this program will help guide interns toward a career path that aligns with their interests and abilities. In addition, this program seeks to provide permanent employment opportunities upon graduation.
Internship Structure
A mentor will be assigned to each intern and will remain with the intern for the duration of the internship. A supervisor will be assigned upon each rotational assignment. In addition, interns will interact with key positions across the Construction Division including Project Managers, General Superintendents, Chief of Surveys, Chief Estimator, Superintendents, Construction Managers, and the President of Construction. These interactions and relationships are intentionally designed to help the intern develop their skillset and grow professionally.
Rotational Assignment Overview
Rotations will vary from office work to field and operational assignments. The primary function in each assignment will be to assist day-to-day processes and operations and create a work product through proper documentation. In addition, all interns will be responsible for learning and adhering to required safety protocols within each assignment. Travel to and from assignments and jobsites will be required. Travel expenses are reimbursable according to NESL Policy.
