Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors and manages all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs. Being an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth. Implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure an organization's technology infrastructure. Additionally, Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance. May assist in network interface planning, hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enterprise Infrastructure Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.      About the Position 

    The IT organization of The Holdsworth Center is responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity for The Holdsworth Center and The Campus on Lake Austin. . The Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, Sr. Manager has specific responsibility for building, configuring, maintaining, enhancing, and eventually decommissioning our infrastructure and cybersecurity platforms. This role reports directly to the Director of IT. 

     

    The Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, Sr. Manager will be responsible for Holdsworth’s portfolio of enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity platforms utilized by 125 end-users at the organization. This position requires an individual with a strong technical background, as well as an ability to work with cross-functional teams to align priorities and plans with key business objectives. The Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, Sr. Manager provides strategic direction for the organization’s technical infrastructure and security (including hardware, software, servers, databases, storage solutions, networks, audiovisual equipment or physical facilities) in support of critical organizational business needs

Along with working in the capacity of the role, the Business Applications Lead will engage alongside Holdsworth staff in leadership development activities and training including but not limited to equity work. 


    Responsibilities 

    Leadership and Management 

    The Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, Sr. Manager will oversee all activities that optimize the value, cost, and risk of our infrastructure and cybersecurity platforms: 

    • Provide infrastructure and cybersecurity leadership, vision, and direction to the organization to ensure it will contribute to the company achieving its goals. 
    • Develop productive relationships with business leaders across the organization to influence how infrastructure and cybersecurity can protect the organization from threat actors.  
    • Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers to ensure they cost-effectively meet the needs of the organization.  

    Infrastructure Management  

    Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, Sr. Manager will be primarily responsible for managing and operating Holdsworth’s IT infrastructure: 

    • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data storage. 
    • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure to meet business requirements. 
    • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve problems efficiently. 
    • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 
    • Ensures the consistency, reliability and performance of networking and telecommunications equipment throughout campus. 
    • Provide technical guidance for IT Infrastructure operations and projects, including hands-on collaboration with team members on best practices, implementation, testing, and problem resolution. 
    • Lead infrastructure initiatives with overall responsibility for the planning, deployment, maintenance, security, and support of infrastructure equipment, systems, and services. 
    • Participate in the planning, installation, and configuration of virtual and/or physical servers, redundancy, and backup strategies. 
    • Ensure that the network and IT infrastructure is routinely monitored, maintained, and updated with recent security patches. 
    • Plan, document, and communicate regular maintenance schedules on all infrastructure. 
    • Manage and document IT infrastructure disaster recovery plan, including network and server topology, data centers, storage and backups, telecommunications, and related physical technology infrastructure. 
    • Manage procurement and vendor relationships 

        Cybersecurity Management 

        The Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, Sr. Manager will be primarily responsible for managing Holdsworth’s cybersecurity platforms and applications: 

        • Architect technical solutions to support security initiatives, identify, assess, and monitor security vulnerabilities, develop, and implement information security policies, standards, strategies and processes to mitigate and prevent threats to the computing environment. 
        • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps and potential threats. 
        • Lead efforts to protect the organization from cyber threats, malware, and data breaches. 
        • Establish and manage access control, authentication, and encryption protocols. 
        • Stay updated on security trends and best practices to ensure a proactive security posture. 
        • Monitor cybersecurity platforms for threat intelligence and incident response. 
        • Develop and maintain an incident response plan and lead response efforts in the event of a security breach or incident. 
        • Conduct post-incident analysis to improve security measures. 


        Desirable candidates will have a range of prior experience and capabilities to include: 

        • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. You may substitute 5 years of work experience for 1 year of Bachelor’s level education. 
        • 5 years of experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting multiple technologies and platforms, including: 
        • Networking and Data Center Infrastructure - firewalls, wireless controllers, wireless access points and hyperconverged systems (Palo Alto, Eaton, HPE, IntelePeer, Meraki, Veeam, VMWare). 
        • Cybersecurity - Intrusion Detection Software (IDS), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Vulnerability Scanning and Management, DNS security, email security.  
        • Data Center Applications - Windows Server 2008/2012/R2/2016/2019, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), SAML, SSO authentication, DNS/DHCP, Data Center Monitoring. 
        • 5 years of experience supervising IT projects. 
        • Strong analytical, data processing, and problem-solving skills. 
        • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate, and effectively influence internal and external stakeholders. 
        • Ability to occasionally work after-hours and weekends to complete required system maintenance.


        Compensation & Benefits 

        • Salary Range:  $140,000 - $150,000
        • Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including but not limited, to your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The Holdsworth Center also factors internal pay equity in evaluating compensation.
