As the Senior Infrastructure Manager you will lead and oversee a team of eight administrators and engineers who are responsible for managing and maintaining the entire JWICS datacenter infrastructure for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in Fort Meade, Maryland.
You will provide in-depth hands-on datacenter operational knowledge and work with the team to upgrade the entire datacenter infrastructure environment to ensure the continued operational availability of the network to support the intelligence community’s mission.
You'll provide support services with technical problems and information technology issues involving Windows Server, NetApp, VMware or network services to local employees and employees using network remote access. Configure, maintain and provide Window Server Administration support to all users to ensure they have the ability to work at all times.
You'll also provide support for all applications running on servers and desktops, and all hardware associated with applications as well as help develop IT solutions to meet business objectives.
You will lead the team on all projects and be the liaison between the government customer and the team. Due to the complexity of the network, this position is 100% onsite.
