IT Infrastructure Manager

The IT Infrastructure Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and scalability of the Company’s technology infrastructure. The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for IT and OT network management and technical performance including hardware, operating system, middleware, server administration tools, and application server environments. The IT Infrastructure Manager will work with Network and Middleware Engineers to design, implement, and oversee the Company’s server and network infrastructure and to contribute to the creation and enforcement of IT/OT standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures. The individual will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the infrastructure systems at the Company and for system administration support during implementation of new functionality supporting business area requirements. This position will report to the Director of Information Technology.
This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance technical expertise with strategic thinking. The IT Infrastructure Manager must be adaptable, proactive, and capable of driving positive change in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND INFLUENCE
· Lead the infrastructure team located in Boise Corporate office as well as in remote location offices
· Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Company’s IT and OT network infrastructure including wired and wireless networks, switches, firewalls, etc.
· Oversee systems management functions including incident management, fault isolation resolution, security management, and systems and network integration
· Provide strategic and operations leadership for the development and execution of an IT and OT infrastructure strategic plan, considering business needs, scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness
· Provide leadership, direction, and guidance for creating and maintaining productive work environment, ensuring staff have the appropriate skills and tools to perform their jobs
· Provide oversight/leadership of configuration management, troubleshooting, and systems management methodologies and practices
· Oversee backup and disaster recovery system management functions
· Forecast demand for storage, computing, and network capacity and proactively take appropriate actions
· Research and recommend technology and solutions for IT and OT Infrastructure with a focus on process improvement, automation, and optimization
· Manage Vendor relationships and maintenance contracts for IT and OT Infrastructure
· Maintain infrastructure equipment inventory and manage hardware lifecycle
· Ensure that IT governance, audit, and compliance requirements are met
· Understand and manage IT security policies and best practices
· Work with IT Director and other management as appropriate to draft/manage standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures
· Participate in on-call support as required

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum 10 years of directly relevant technical experience (IT and OT)
· Minimum 5 years direct supervisory experience in a management administrative capacity or advanced technical leadership
· Bilingual ability a plus
· Proven experience in managing IT and OT networks, preferably in a manufacturing environment
· Strong understanding of networking principles, security measures, IT and OT systems, and network architectures.
· Knowledge of principles and practices regarding networking, computer hardware, and software systems with an emphasis in diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
· Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills
· Solid project management skills
· Understanding of related industry standards and best practice frameworks
· Proven analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members
