What You'll Do in This Position
The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $17.70, and may increase based on major and class standing.
This internship will focus on activities within the IT Projects Support team to support SRNS IT's FY23 Objectives. IT Projects Support is primarily a senior-level team that works across all IT disciplines to meet customer needs. The internship tasks are expected to include items such as:
*Assistance with the coordination/communication/documentation of SRNS IT applications portfolio current usage and expected growth for licensing and capacity planning related to a project.
*Assistance with metrics in a dashboard display utilizing tools such as OBIEE, Office Timeline Pro, etc.
*Assistance with project management related customer support tasks.
*Assistance with Field Support:
*Developing customer guidance on how to use IT services effectively.
*Interacting with IT customers to train them on IT products/services.
*Analyzing and resolving end user computer problems.
Security Clearance Information
SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Qualifications We Require
Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program.
Must have completed freshman year of college.
Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing.
