We have an open position for a Supervisor at HMMA on 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
-Work 8 hour shifts and open to work mandatory overtime hours when needed.
-Oversee the daily activities of departments in the Sequencing Department.
-Training of all team members (SOP's, training sheets, one point lessons, etc.)
-Check with all team members about any issues relating to non-standard working procedures.
-Ensure good and effective communication with employees, supervisors, and management.
-Enforce company policies and procedures; set and enforce standards to drive productivity; motivate employees to accomplish all goals.
-Ensures that proper storage/part flow methods are being utilized by all team members; Informs all team members of any storage method changes as they become relevant and necessary.
-Must be computer literate with the ability to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Must have excellent attendance, good attitude, and be a team player.
-Must provide a standardize working method to ensure all sequence dollies and other deliveries are within specified guidelines.
-Must be open to other duties as assigned by management and/or movement to other areas as needed
Requirements:
-Must fully understand how to calculate on time shipments to HMMA using the JIS and HMMA Overview
-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis and physically load/unload dollies with parts in them
-Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication
-Must be able to stand, kneel, squat, and walk for long periods of time
