Being an Env., Health, and Safety Engineer is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineer serves as contact with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be an Env., Health, and Safety Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Position Summary
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and certification/accreditation requirements to ensure employee, patient and visitor safety and security. The primary function of this role is to provide risk mitigation to reduce the risk of injury to workers, visitors and people we serve. This is primarily accomplished by working cooperatively and effectively with the Training, Human Resources, Facilities, Nursing, Medical Services and Compliance departments to conduct employee training, develop policy, formally monitor safety, and coordinate continuous improvements to Aspire’s safety activities and culture. This is a hybrid position that will work remotely and on-site. This individual must live in Indiana.
