Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineer serves as contact with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Pilz Automation Safety, L.P. is currently seeking a fully remote Process Safety Engineer. The Process Safety Engineer will work within the Pilz Services team providing guidance to customers as well as supporting Application Engineers in the implementation of safety devices. Process Safety Engineers will visit customer sites to perform Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies, complete Risk Assessments, and provide safety reports. Before and after customer site visits, it will be expected that this person is able to review and understand mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams for various process equipment. The person in this position will work closely with customers to provide direction on the components to be used in the recommended solutions.
The Process Safety Engineer is a key member of the Pilz Services team and will serve as the interface between the Consulting and Application groups. This position will help with the growth and development of Pilz Consulting personnel as well as developing the Safety Consulting business within Pilz.
