Env., Health, and Safety Engineer implements and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Env., Health, and Safety Engineer is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineer serves as contact with all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Concierge/Safety to join our team at our Amityville site.
A Concierge/ Safety is responsible for providing patient centered care and facilitating patient access to services in a pleasant, knowledgeable efficient manner, communication with a diverse population using well-developed interpersonal skills. This staff member plays an integral role in the medical care team as the access point for patients to receive care. She/he will perform their job duties in compliance with systems and job specific standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists with daily reception activities and ensures that all processes needed for patient services are initiated
Communicates effectively with team members and patients on all aspects of service
Distributes materials to patients, including the patient satisfaction cards, patient rights and other appropriate materials.
Assists with patient flow during registration.
Supports staff and patient safety throughout the health center.
Provide safety training and orientation to all staff annually.
Responds to site emergencies and all Sun River Health codes, acts as Fire/Safety Warden.
Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma/ GED
Minimum Work Related Experience: 2-4 years
Preferred Specialized Skills and Knowledge: Bilingual in both English and Spanish (orally & written)
Hourly Range: $16.00-$18.50/hour
