Designs and develops facilities, work areas and work procedures. Being an Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Manager directs preparation, maintenance, and updating of environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. JOB SUMMARY
The Life Safety Coordinator will be responsible for servicing and maintaining CCH/ facilities life safety equipment and fixtures within the facilities. The Life Safety Coordinator will use acceptable work practices and follow hospital and departmental guidelines to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role of the Life Safety Coordinator is to deliver technical procurement activities in a multidisciplinary capacity. This position provides technical advice, research, and procurement of engineering supply items for major projects, repairs, and compliance reporting for DNV. The Life Safety Coordinator provides leadership and direction to facility engineers, including department goals, work orders, preventive maintenance, and promoting teamwork. This position is responsible for maintaining all the facilities' locks and keys, including key cutting, pinning core, key control, and installation of all locks and door hardware.
