Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor supervises engineers who develop, implement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation, maintenance, and updating of environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Position Summary: The Supervisor, EH&S will provide leadership, oversight, and direction for all aspects of corporate environmental, health, and safety across the organization. They E will lead a team of EH&S professionals to drive prioritization of regulatory compliance, risk management, continuous improvements and integration of EH&S performance objectives into organization-wide work processes. Additionally, this position ensures a work environment free of recognized hazards while meeting federal, state and local EH&S regulations to include, but not limited to, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT). This position is also responsible for maintaining required records, preparing and compiling compliance reports, and documenting best practices. The position is also responsible for developing and refining corporate Environmental Health & Safety policies, as well as designing, selecting and delivering safety training to all employees. The Supervisor, EH&S is recognized as the subject matter expert in OSHA, DOT, EPA, and Ergonomics.
