Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor supervises engineers who develop, implement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation, maintenance, and updating of environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Env., Health, and Safety Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. The Safety Supervisor is responsible for supporting the safety and health processes within the local organization. This individual will assist the safety manager in leading the safety and health efforts within the plant. The position of Safety Supervisor reports directly to the Safety Manager and has the responsibility to assist in the implementation and evaluation of critical safety processes, programs, and procedures to achieve goals, objectives, and continuous improvement related to compliance as well as injury reduction.
