The base salary for this position is $70,000.00 to $100,000.00. Your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education and/or experience. Please keep in mind that that the range published is the full base salary. We also offer a generous benefits package.
In aggregate, the Mendocino Companies (Mendocino Forest Products Company, Mendocino Redwood Company, Humboldt Redwood Company, Humboldt Sawmill Company, and Allweather Wood) own nearly 450,000 acres of Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC® C031337) certificated redwood and Douglas-fir timberland, constitute the largest waterborne wood treater in the Western USA, and is the largest producer of redwood lumber in the world. Under the direction of Director, Environmental and Safety this position develops, implements, and reviews safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and Company Policies. Maintains and encourages a safe behavioral culture and an environmentally responsible working environment. Directly responsible for managing Safety and Loss Control programs for company facilities. Works closely with Director or designee for environmental management and initiatives. Manages, in conjunction with the designated senior member of management at location, applicable environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and legislation. Works to plan, develop, implement environmental strategies, and action plans to ensure adherence to company policy.
