Safety Manager Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday)

• Project: 160 MW solar project
• Assist in the development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and templates that include the Site Safety Plans, Site Passports, Emergency Response Plans, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Site Induction
• Participates in safety related discussions at Plan of the Day (POD) Meetings, All Hands Meetings, Safety Committee Meetings, Staff Meetings, and Client/Owner Monthly Meetings
• Deliver training on Safety Initiatives, Site Induction, Work Procedures, Work Instructions, SMS, and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect work areas to verify consistency with procedural, client, and regulatory requirements.

Safety Manager Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a safety professional and must have experience as the site safety manager, managing safety on large commercial construction or Renewable Energy projects (wind or solar).
• They need experience with a large acreage site and that the person has been a safety professional in industrial construction, utility scale renewables, or utility construction.
• Will be provided a work truck and a computer and a phone allowance.
• Must be located less than 1 hour from the site from Bell County, TX site.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work as a team member with the remaining client rep team.
• Ability to manage/administer safety orientations, investigate/report on injuries/illnesses/near misses and other to perform other various safety functions on-site.
• Ability to work with all construction groups: management, owners, trades, and subcontractors.
• Must have excellent communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
