USAE is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable/Accounting Specialist to join our accounting team at our Oldsmar Corporate Office. This individual will be responsible for processing accounts payable (AP) invoices and relevant AP and accounting transactions such as account reconciliations and downloads into USAE’s Unanet Accounting System. The position involves: posting cash receipts, balancing and posting to the general ledger and voucher status report; entering all AP invoices and travel/expense reports (check requests) into Unanet; uploading weekly check details into our commercial bank’s fraud protection/positive pay system; running reports to advise USAE financial director on AP invoices due weekly; processing weekly check run; ensuring timely mailing and Fed Ex shipments for all disbursements; ordering, printing, processing and submitting 1099 and W9, and Puerto Rico Vendor Tax forms at year-end for all relevant vendors; performing entry and excel reconciliation of MasterCard transactions and downloading the monthly MasterCard statement into Unanet; and other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years accounts payable experience, 3 years of general accounting experience and mid-level Excel and Microsoft Office experience. Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data, outstanding math and research skills, able to work well with others and interface with vendors, customers, corporate employees and project personnel. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential; individual must be able to multi-task, be self-motivated, and manage multiple priorities. Previous experience with Unanet is a plus.
