Environmental Compliance Specialist conducts required environmental tests, analysis and observations. Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies. Being an Environmental Compliance Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Environmental Compliance Specialist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Position Summary:
The Compliance Specialist shall report directly to the Risk and Compliance Director. The role functions as an objective resource to review and evaluate compliance issues/concerns within the medical centers. Endorses compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
