Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies. Being an Environmental Compliance Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Environmental Compliance Specialist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. This position will also assist in other project areas, including infrastructure, public facilities, local planning efforts, and more. This position will develop significant levels of subject matter expertise in CDBG, develop program policies, and provide compliance and implementation guidance to local grant administrators and community subgrantees.
