Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Environmental Compliance Specialist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. The Radon Mitigation Technician at SWAT Environmental is responsible for the installation and service of radon mitigation systems. SWAT is looking for self-motivated individuals with a great attitude and a desire to be part of a growing company with a winning culture. The position requires the ability to work independently, as well as strong customer service, problem-solving, and time management skills. Military Welcome!!Essential Functions:
- Inspect homes and work with customers to determine the most effective placement of radon mitigation systems.
- Install radon mitigation systems by drilling holes, running PVC pipes, installing fans, and sealing holes.

(different for Iowa postings)
- Lift and carry a 60-pound ladder.
- Work on ladders at 40 feet and higher.
- Work in confined spaces (ability to turn, twist, bend, stoop, reach).
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Operate drill, hole-saw, coring drills, and other hand tools safely.
- Acquire and maintain required certifications.
- Use technology (mobile phones, tablets, laptops).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
