Environmental Compliance Specialist conducts required environmental tests, analysis and observations. Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies. Being an Environmental Compliance Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Environmental Compliance Specialist relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.     WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

    • Coordinates the PI&T (Product Integrity and Traceability) , P&HM (Pest and Hiegiene Management), QAT (Quality Assessment tool) annual self-assessment as per the required timelines.
    • Consolidates and reports findings to Local Management and Regional/ Global Quality structures.
    • Ensures closure of identified improvement opportunities, reviewing on quarterly basis the submitted scores.
    • Generates monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the compliance to PI&T, P&HM, QAT as required.
    • Identifies improvement opportunities in the PI&T, P&HM, QAT requirements and supports the Regional team in implementing the improvements.
    • Ensures that the accountable persons for each area of the PI&T, P&HM, QAT assessments are always updated.
    • Performs a yearly risk assessment and propose Internal Audits to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Plans and conducts Internal Audits. Consolidates and reports findings to Local Management.

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science degree in related field and 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
    • Self-directed and self-motivated with a keen sense of urgency
    • Quality conscious with attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a virtual team environment to accomplish objectives
    • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office 365)
    • Auditing experience preferred
    • Previous quality experience preferred
