    Think Environmental is currently looking to hire an Environmental Technician for one or more of our area teams. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to learn refinery operations and gain valuable plant experience for those considering a career in Oil & Gas.

    Job Overview

    The Environmental Technician is an entry-level role which does not require previous refinery or environmental experience. Think Environmental provides a paid training program which covers leak detection and other environmental services, applicable federal and state regulations, as well as basic refinery operations. Think Environmental employees are routinely hired by the plant in operations, environmental and other roles.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform leak detection and other assigned environmental monitoring services
    • Work with plant operations, maintenance and environmental staff to ensure success of program
    • Perform other tasks as required

    Requirements
    Basic Qualifications

    • TWIC card required PRIOR to being considered for position (company will pay if you do not have one)
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical
    • Industrial/plant experience preferred but not required
    • Good verbal and written communications skills
    • Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions (heat/cold, inclement weather)
    • Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
    • Ability to work at heights of 100 feet
    • Ability to work overtime as required
    • Valid driver's license
