Brockerhoff Environmental Services LLC is providing an excellent opportunity for a local individual seeking a position as an Entry or Mid Level Environmental Scientist. Two positions are available, one in our Forked River office, and one in our Washington, Warren County NJ office. These persons will be responsible for conducting field activities, evaluation of analytical data sets, and assisting with the preparation of technical documents under the guidance of a Project Manager. While in the field, you will conduct activities including installation of soil borings, installation of monitoring wells, oversight of subcontractors, and the collection of soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigation samples. While in the office, you will assist in the review of analytical data and provide support for the preparation of reports to various regulatory agencies. Candidates will only be considered if they are physically able to commute to either our Forked River (Ocean County NJ) or our Washington, Warren County, New Jersey office. Some remote work may be possible.
Qualified candidates should have B.S. in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering; Environmental Science; Chemistry; Geology or related field and have a minimum of one to five years of experience. Candidates having a current OSHA HAZWOPR training is considered to be a plus. A valid driver’s license is required. This position requires an individual to be within commuting distance to our Warren County, NJ office. Only those individuals that are within commuting distance to either Forked River or Washington, Warren County NJ office need apply.
