    As a valued member of our Bishop Site team, you will be responsible for efforts around development and implementation of Environmental related programs, Environmental Permit Compliance, and Waste Disposal.  Your deep understanding of Environmental /Health/Safety principles, processes, and regulations will be an asset as you communicate and facilitate the sharing of programs, procedures, and tools that promote a safe working environment.

    You will report to the onsite EHS Compliance Manager.

     

    As a Environmental Process Safety Engineer, You Create Chemistry By...

     

    • Developing, implementing and maintaining programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local regulations, including Title V / NSR air permitting, NSPS / MACT, EPCRA, NPDES, waste, wastewater and other environmental compliance programs.
    • Serving as the point of contact for technical support for operations and capital projects regarding environmental and process safety regulations and issues.
    • Interfacing with State and Federal Regulatory Agencies on permit applications, permit negotiations, agency inspections, enforcement issues and reports.
    • Having responsibility for waste handling, compliance, transportation, and disposal logistics for the Bishop site.
    • Managing the Leak Detection And Repair (LDAR) program  within process units and participate on RMP/PSM Implementation programs.
    • Fostering safe-behavior and zero-incident mindsets throughout the manufacturing environment, you will conduct and support environmental compliance in process units including audits and inspections for Clean Air Act (CAA), CWA, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) programs and assist with waste manifest activities such as recordkeeping and reporting.
    • Assisting with data analysis using the global Dakota Management System and support in providing information pertaining to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) tracking for process units.
    • Utilizing your strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will be relied upon to conduct environmental related training.
    • Supporting development of process safety data management systems including, Process Hazard Analysis/PSV revalidations, process safety projects, you will be leading the effort to track action items to completion and ensure relevant documentation is completed.
    • Participating in safety step reviews, Process Hazard Analyses, and capital project scope development from actions identified.

    • Possess experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
    • Have strong analytical skills to assist with data analysis. 
    • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills as you will be relied upon to conduct environmental related training.
