A day in the life of an Environmental Specialist II can look like :
Use attention to detail skills to interpret and communicate permit conditions and compliance requirements to affected stakeholders within GVEA.
Provide expertise and guidance to advise and assist facilities in maintaining environmental compliance. Use communication skills to interface with regulatory agencies and GVEA staff to ensure compliance with existing and future environmental regulations, including air quality, water quality, and waste management.
Ensure that GVEA meets and exceeds regulatory compliance, reporting and recordkeeping requirements.
