May also design, install, operate and maintain measuring apparatus to determine the level of pollutants involving air, land, and water. Being an Environmental Engineer performs experiments and reports findings on environmental consequences of equipment, tools, and procedures. Ensures the organization's conformance to federal, state, and local environmental legislation. Additionally, Environmental Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work

    Assist with and establish client relationships along with fostering client retention

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Chemical/Civil Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Sciences required

    7 Years of related experience is required

    Environmental Site Assessment experience required

    Must be able to work, manage tasks, and schedule independently

    Must be able to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions

    Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one's discipline

    Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities

    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and interact effectively

    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
