    Position Summary:

    We Are Seeking a Maintenance Technician/Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of experience working on CMV/Heavy equipment. Maintain fleet with routine inspection of fleet while performing preventative maintenance or repairs, assist with road calls when necessary, maintain current PM status on all equipment and assist other technicians in keeping shop work area organized, clean and free of hazards.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Complete PMs as assigned for routine fleet maintenance
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with fleet.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system issues with fleet.
    • Inspect Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports and make repairs as reported
    • Conduct routine inspections of fleet while working on individual units.
    • Complete work orders and related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner

    Qualifications


    ducation:

    High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    Experience and Competencies

    • 3 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic (required)
    • Verified experience trouble shooting mechanical and equipment electrical issues.
    • Competency with hydraulic systems.
    • Competency with CMV air and air brake systems.
    • 1 - 2 years of experience on Commercial Motor Vehicles (preferred).
    • Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
    • Social Security Card.
    • Must undergo Background, MVR and Drug Screen.
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Maintain a high level of motivation, energy and a customer – focused attitude.
    • Must have an upbeat and positive outlook and excel in a team environment
