```Job Summary```
The Project Technician will work as part of a team both independently and with other BCA staff and clients on various projects to provide support to our clients. They support Project Scientists and Project Managers in order for them to facilitate projects and serve clients. Project Technicans perform project support activities related to emission calculations, report and application preparation, maps and flow diagrams, client record keeping, waste and water sampling, and site inspections. The technician will also support BCA staff with administrative and marketing tasks per the direction of Project Managers which will include, but is not limited to, field supply inventory, database updates, writing work instructions, content writing for newsletter and website, and lead generation. BCA provides services to our clients through one-off projects and by managing the programs of our Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients on a contract basis, so this position requires excellent time management, efficiency and communication skills. They are a self-motivated problem solver with high attention to detail and capable of working independently and under the direction of senior staff to solve problems to ensure technical results and final products are accurate.

```Essential Duties```

• Monitor due dates of all assigned tasks
• Wastewater, stormwater and solid waste sampling
• Generate wastewater and stormwater reports
• Generate air emissions reports
• Generate waste manifest reports
• Generate Tier II and Form R reports
• Generate environmental related site diagrams and flow diagrams
• Conduct site compliance inspections related to stormwater, wastewater, SPCC and RCRA
• Technical writing

```Skills and abilities```

• Skills proficient in Microsoft, Adobe and other related software.
• The ability to perform field work, facility inspections, data collection, evaluation and conduct technical writing.
• The ability to manage a wide range of tasks and effectively communicate results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• The ability to read and interpret environmental regulations in waste, air, and water.
• Working knowledge of chemistry, biology and analytical methodologies.
• Proficient in math

```Qualifications```

• High School Diploma and attending post-secondary school; or Associates Degree.
• 0-2 years of professional experience within an environmental, analytical and/or business administration discipline.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
