The role reports to the HSE Manager and is located in Mebane, North Carolina. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) keeps the facility compliant with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements in a dynamic and ever-changing world of laws, regulations, and corporate expectations

• Learning and training system alignment with business and site expectations
• Review and updating of Fall Protection Risk Assessments
• Review and updating of equipment specific Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Review and support the implementation of the HSE management system
• Gain a broad understanding and overview of the HSE&S field
• Champion for Safety culture and engagement
• Build relationships with people leaders and employees; empower them to proactively find and resolve potential safety concerns

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering, environmental science, health and safety or a science related field, in the United States
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
