Job Reporting Location: This position has flexibility and can be based in one of three Ceres office locations: Minneapolis, MN, Houston, TX or Sarasota, FL.
Education Requirements: Four-year degree in health and safety related field. Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred, but not required.
Experience: This position will have a minimum of ten (10) or more years of experience in a dynamic heavy/civil/infrastructure construction safety & risk management program. Has effectively managed and administered a comprehensive safety, risk & environmental management program; and have a thorough knowledge and understanding of, and ability to manage a comprehensive claims management program.
Regulatory Knowledge Competencies: Thorough knowledge of all OSHA regulations, including Call OSHA; Corps of Engineers (EM-385 safety requirements); Federal DOT; On-Line Web-Portal prequalification (ISNet, Browz, Avetta, etc.)
Position Summary: The Director of Safety, Risk & Environmental Management is an integral part of senior management that provides organizational leadership for a comprehensive risk management and safety program, including claims management. Examines and recommends risk, safety and environmental policies and practices to reduce risk in the field. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as advises managers on safe work methods and practices including environmental hazards.
