Being an Environmental Manager evaluates operations and makes recommendations to reduce waste or pollution. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Additionally, Environmental Manager typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Environmental Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. GAI Consultants is seeking an Environmental Manager to provide advanced experience and team leadership in environmental studies and permitting and/or siting studies. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be to provide project and task leadership for siting, permitting, and documentation efforts relating to electric transmission projects. The Environmental Manager will also be responsible for project budget and schedule management, staff management, coordination with clients and regulatory agencies, business development, proposal preparation and cost estimating, and quality control reviews.
This position will be performed on a hybrid schedule out of our Canton, OH; Cranberry, PA; Homestead, PA; DuBois, PA; or Glen Alen, VA office. Other office locations and/or remote locations may also be considered.
