Summary of Position: Manages the activities of a centralized payroll department in carrying out responsibility for seven stand-alone multi-state payrolls. Undertakes the responsibility of setting up and maintaining functional payroll systems, streamlining, and documenting payroll procedures; auditing payroll transaction to ensure accurate and timely payment to employee. Require to constantly research and stay up-to-date with tax regulations across multiple states. Does not spend 50% of time personally performing payroll processing and related activities.
