Additionally, Environmental Manager typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Environmental Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Environmental Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job purpose
The Vendor Relations Manager has responsibility for the working relationship and contract management of vendors providing services for waste hauling, disposal, and recycling. The position will evaluate service, resolve price and service disputes, and communicate regularly with vendors to ensure a safe and effective operation under the direction and supervision of the Director of Procurement. This position will provide leadership in developing a robust national platform of suppliers for the procurement of all required services.
