Ensures environmental projects are in compliance with the state and federal regulations. Being an Environmental Planner estimate the level of pollutants involving air, land, and water to devise mitigating measures. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Environmental Planner typically reports to a supervisor. To be an Environmental Planner typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. BASIC PURPOSE:
Provides support to projects of the Planning Department. Provides assistance as needed with research, analysis and reporting on planning topics such as master planning, resiliency planning, energy conservation, and emergency response planning.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the direct supervision of the Senior Program Manager, Planning.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
May functionally supervise Planning interns.
