Position: Hull Group Detail Planner/Estimator
Location: Naval Submarine Support Facility (NSSF), SUBASE
The responsibilities of this position require a broad background in waterfront repair of Hull Structural and Piping submarine systems, as well as knowledge of industrial repair techniques for the Structural and Piping trades. Candidate must possess the skills to work effectively with management and working levels of other Divisions and Departments, and with fleet activities supporting maintenance and repair at the Naval Submarine Support Facility (NSSF), SUBASE. The position requires detailed knowledge of higher authority maintenance requirements and quality assurance procedures, comprehensive technical knowledge of Structural and Piping procedures that are utilized in the repair of Los Angeles and Virginia Class platforms, and familiarity with NAVSEA approved repair procedures and trade applicable work practices. The Hull Group Detail Planner/Estimator shall be qualified to the requirements of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) Planner qualification card.
