Position Summary:
As a Floor Care Technician on the overnight shift, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Working during non-peak hours, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hospital floors are immaculately clean and free of hazards, contributing to a hygienic and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of all hospital floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing as needed.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure floors are sanitized and free from germs, bacteria, and other contaminants.
• Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and other incidents requiring immediate attention, following established protocols for cleanup and disposal.
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as cleaning solutions, mops, and trash bags to maintain efficient workflow throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with other members of the environmental services team to coordinate tasks and prioritize cleaning schedules based on hospital needs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols at all times, including the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and personal protective gear.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor or department head for prompt resolution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.13 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
