Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Manager of Environmental Services is a working-manager position responsible for the managerial leadership necessary to assure the provision of quality operation in the hospital as well as all aspects of day-to-day operations of the department. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to create a positive patient centered culture; and a culture where the staff is encouraged to grow in knowledge and skills to further the quality care provided at WMRMC. Under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer exercises considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in implementing the established standards of ensuring the facility is clean and sanitized.
This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.

Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
Five (5) years experience in Environmental Services
Three (3) years of practical experience in a relevant population setting
Two (2) years supervisor or manager experience
