Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a PRN Environmental Services Tech to join our team. The hours will be 11AM until 730PM EST Friday and Saturday.
The Environmental Services Tech provides housekeeping/cleaning/courier service to all patient care, treatment, and diagnostic areas. Duties include high dusting, basic room cleaning, trash removal, general floor care, and assisting nursing staff as needed.
Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
1 year experience preferred
