Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Key Responsibilities:- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Prints and creates outbound manifests and hazardous waste labels for outbound loads;
- Organizes and files plant, and truck to truck paperwork;
- Forklift loading and unloading;
- Data entry into internal programs;
- Organizes and maintains trailer inventories;
- Filing, typing, and general clerical duties;
- Any administrative duties as deemed required by supervisors.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Hazardous waste manifest experience or processing is required;
- 1 years of related work experience preferred;
- Computer skills and knowledge are required;
- DOT Training/Knowledge a plus;
- Forklift experience required;
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
