Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Primary Purpose
Provides onsite waste management services to clients, including coordinating shipments, completing required paperwork for pick-ups, interfacing with Heritage customer and their customers, lab packing, conducting various facility inspections as required; performs sampling, evaluates and provides waste minimization opportunities; sets up brokering arrangements.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Four year college degree or equivalent preferred. Environmental Science major preferred.
Experience: One to two years' experience in the hazardous waste management industry required.
Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Thorough knowledge and understanding of all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the Environmental Services industry. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.
