Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The canidate must confirm that each purchase order is reviewed, coded and processed correctly and maintained throughout the process from creation to the accounting package. By working in a team, this individual will provide analytical support to our senior management and work closely with the operations team to ensure each invoice is paid and accounted for, and design reports of complex data.

    Some responsibilities and qualifications we are looking for include:
    • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
    • Prepare financial reports and conduct financial analysis.
    • Helping with accounts payable.
    • Conducting financial due diligence for capital spending.
    • Helping to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
    • Manage and oversee purchase orders as they are developed.
    • Ensure each Purchase order is matched to the correct account and collected in a timely manner.
    • Keep balance sheet / project / operations spreadsheets up to date as invoices come in.
    • Work with operations to maintain budget compliance.
    Estimated Salary - $65,000-$85,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience

    Job Requirements:
    • Pursuing or obtained Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other financial and purchase order software (i.e. QuickBooks).
    • Familiarity with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Experience with budgeting and forecasting for financial audits.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interpret complex datasets, drawing out key trends and insights to conclude rational decisions.
    • Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and tax laws.
    • Comfortably work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to perform financial analysis and modeling.
      Attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies.
