Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Pay Rate: $16.67 Depending on Experience.
Shift Details: NIGHTS, WILL include rotating weekends and assigned holidays: Full-Time (40 hrs/wk)
**Eligible for up to 15% shift differential due to working the Night shift.
Department: Environmental Services at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT
Additional Details: This is a very physical job and incumbent will be expected to stand/walk for 8 hours constantly. Will also need to be able to bend and get down and up easily. Needs to have good hand dexterity and be able to bend and lift loads. Needs to have good vision and attention to detail. Will be expected to go outside the building to throw the trash away (rain, snow or shine).
