Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Responsibilities: • Coordinates and performs duties of an environmental services attendant as required, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, floor finishing, stocking paper items and other supplies, and sanitizing all surfaces.
Complexity of Work : • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment: • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Education: • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. Work Experience: • 1 year of experience required
