Environmental Services Coordinator jobs in Syracuse, NY
Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Certified Environmental Services is looking for a full time Field Services Sampling Technician.
Responsibilities to include the set up of landfill, storm and discharge water sampling using sampling and flow monitoring equipment. Also sample pickups on an as needed basis.
Conduct on-site field testing & Transport sampling equipment to customer sites
Maintaining sampling equipment
Ensure the company is represented in a professional manner while at customer sites
Must be able to meet certain physical demands such as:
Consistent standing, walking, bending, crouching or stooping
Frequent lifting of equipment and coolers weighing up to 75 pounds
Climbing ladders and/or stairs
Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, etc.
Must have valid driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
