Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Clean Harbors is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler / Truck To Truck Technician who will be responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Clean Harbors’ facilities, and direct generators.- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Loads and unloads hazardous waste materials
- Coordinates loads between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations.
- Ensures transportation efficiency and maintains compliance with the Company’s storage permits.
- Dispatches transportation from hubs.
- Assists on tracking of manifest return timelines.
- Maintains Hub Database.
- Other duties as assigned.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?- HS Diploma or Equivalent.
- Previous experience with hazardous materials is an asset.
- Prior forklift experience or other equipment used for loading/unloading.
- Ability to work 1st shift Monday-Friday (7:00am - 5:00pm).
- Basic computer skills.
