Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in a hospital setting. Your duties will include performing custodial and sanitation tasks, adhering to OSHA regulations, and providing excellent environmental services.

Duties:
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, vacuuming, and waxing
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
- Assist with waste management and recycling efforts
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Respond to emergency situations, such as spills or accidents, in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or environmental services preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to environmental services
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Good communication skills to interact with staff and patients

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $16.18 - $21.23 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Rotating weekends

Application Question(s):

• Though our positions are part time or per diem, they will still be for full 8-hour shifts. Is this something you are able to do?
• The bulk of our shifts are for DAYS and you will be scheduled to work an 8 hour shift between 5a-3p. Are you available to work those range of hours?
• In this role, you could work in our public areas, our office spaces, and our patient rooms. However, you could also be assigned to our mental health units, our operating rooms, ER rooms, maternity rooms, and the morgue. Are you comfortable working in those areas.
• Though these positions are not full time, you have the opportunity to pick up shifts at this time. Is this something you would be interested in doing?
