Job Summary

The Director of Clinical Equipment Services is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all clinical equipment within the organization. This includes managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and developing and implementing equipment maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of clinical equipment technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and implement equipment maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including OSHA, FDA, and Joint Commission requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment needs are met and equipment is properly maintained
• Manage equipment inventory and procurement, ensuring equipment is available when needed and within budget
• Develop and maintain relationships with equipment vendors and service providers
• Provide training and education to staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in clinical equipment technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical equipment management
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements
• Ability to develop and implement equipment maintenance programs
• Experience managing equipment inventory and procurement
• Ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in clinical equipment technology
