Equipment Director directs the management of company equipment including procurement activities, preventative maintenance, repair/replacement and safety assurance. Manages the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. Being an Equipment Director minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Document and tracks equipment performance throughout the product lifetime. Additionally, Equipment Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Equipment Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. We work on the following types of projects:
-Vegetation management and fire fuel reduction. Chain saw and chipping (Government contracts and private)
-Tractor, dozer and excavation work. Concrete and hard scape.
-General land improvements, gravel roads, RV pads, water tank pads, building pads, French drains, grading, hiking trail installs and other land improvements.
-Custom Farming, seeding pastures, general tillage, amending soil and deep ripping for vineyard install.
Class A drivers license preferred and 3 years of operating experience. Locations change weekly
