We are looking for a steller Engineering Equipment Manager. Preference for those with a background in Warehousing and Logistics within a military medical system. Must be a US Citizen and live within 25 miles of Williamsburg, VA. We are not able to offer any sponsorship for this position.
Requirements
Scope of Work: The contract provides general warehousing services; maintains and repairs containers, biomedical equipment, and civil engineering equipment (CEE); produces Deployable Medical Systems (DEPMEDS) at The Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NEMSCOM), Cheatham Annex (CAX), Williamsburg, Virginia.
Essential Job Functions:
• Shall implement and sustain a program to manage, clean, operate, test, inspect, inventory, update, maintain, or coordinate maintenance, repair, and certify the NEMSCOM Containers, Shelters, CESE, CEEI, and/or Advanced Base Functional Component (ABFC) tool kits (Collectively known as Civil Engineering Equipment)
• Shall manage the NEMSCOM Civil Engineering End Item (CEEI) located at CAX to include the inventory management, maintenance, inspection, repair, and alterations of all NEMSCOM CEEI.
• Shall manage the performance of Limited Technical Inspections (LTI) of all downloaded CEEI within 30 days after the download task order completion date and within 15 days for new receipts once posted.
• Shall manage the performance of all repairs per manufacturer maintenance service manuals or technical manuals/specifications as applicable.
• Shall ensure all CEE at NEMSCOM is ready to issue status and pre-assigned to EMF builds before the build task order or pending disposition.
Required Skills and Experience:
• BS in Business Management, or equivalent
• Must have 5 years’ experience with Civil Engineering Equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours as required, including weekends and holidays
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and accuracy to deal effectively with multiple databases and large volumes of data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
• Interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship building skills to work effectively and make contributions to improvement recommendations in a team environment
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
• The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
• Excellent ability to manage competing demands, changes, or delays
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze feedback troubleshoot deficiencies and make changes to rectify issues within short timelines
• Possess the ability to pass a NACI background investigation and to acquire a CAC Card
• Must be a US Citizen
